In a Nutshell

We deliver interventions aimed at improving the mental health and well-being of people of all ages. Everything we do is underpinned with sound psychological theory and designed to achieve specific outcomes. Our delivery team are highly qualified and experienced psychologists, and hold enhanced DBS clearance. Our work is targeted at specific outcomes but delivered with empathy and fun.

What We Offer

  • Schools

    We work in partnership with schools to help them to achieve their aims by delivering sessions that are interactive, fun and aligned to the National Curriculum. We use interaction with nature to assist learning.

  • Self-esteem and Confidence

    We regularly run programmes aimed at building self-esteem and confidence in people of all ages, and have worked with people from 3 to 93.

    A key partner from “The Women’s Project” said “It is clear since the conclusion of the programme that the women speak fondly of their time spent with Hack Back in increasing their confidence and developing their ideas, and all continue to make positive progress. I am aware that this increased confidence and positive focus for the future can be attributed to the input they had with the Hack Back programme”.

  • Emotional Intelligence and Interpersonal skills

    We run programmes for children and young people aimed at impacting on the dimensions of emotional intelligence. Key sessions include: Self awareness, awareness of others, self regard, regard for others, trust, managing emotions etc. We also run sessions on understanding feelings both in self and others and how to deal with those feelings.  We use both teaching and reflection to enhance these skills.

  • Well-being

    Carers  – these programmes are aimed at giving carers an exciting and enjoyable experience which will have a positive impact on well-being.  In addition the programme emphasises the need for carers to look after their own well-being without feeling guilty.

    Depression /anxiety – we run programmes for people with mild to moderate depression. These programmes are aimed at impacting on the well-being, self-esteem and confidence. The programmes integrate brief solution focussed therapy with green therapy and interaction with the birds.

    Children, young people, adults and families with conditions within autistic spectrum disorders -these programmes are aimed at giving individuals and families a positive experience in a non-judgemental environment impacting on behaviour, self-worth, confidence and well-being.

    Cancer sufferers  and cardiac care etc – these sessions are aimed at giving individuals an exciting and enjoyable experience which will have a positive impact on well-being.

  • Team building

    We run team building events for third sector organisations. These include organisational and team planning days; improving organisational and team communication; Board and Trustee governance events and bespoke events.

    We run team building and well-being events for private sector organisations which will impact on communication and performance whilst enabling organisations to embrace Corporate Social Responsibility by supporting a social enterprise.

  • Individuals

    We provide sessions for individuals in which, we use brief solution focussed therapy and interaction with the birds to impact positively on presenting issues/problems.

  • Stress

    We provide sessions for professionals including GPs and NHS consultants to provide them with an exciting and relaxing intervention aimed at reducing stress and improving well-being.

  • Older People

    We provide sessions for older people, including those with dementia, aimed at improving well-being and reducing isolation.

  • Career Development

    We have a proven track record in supporting individuals who have experienced both long and short term unemployment back into new and exciting careers. Over the past 10 years our MD Anita Morris has helped hundreds of people to achieve their career aims. She regularly works with graduates, retiring senior Police Officers from Merseyside Police and managers from Third Sector organisations. Sessions are delivered as workshops and one to one career coaching. Anita is proud to have helped people to transition into totally different careers, to set up businesses and to move on into new and exciting roles in their 50s and 60s.
