Apollo
Common Buzzard
Apollo is part of the Cheshire Falconry display and experience team. Named Apollo after Buzz Aldrin (Buzz = Buzzard) who piloted the lunar module on the Apollo 11 flight to the 1969 moon landing.
He is a favourite with falconer Robert who has a detailed knowledge of Buzzards.
Apollo loves to sunbathe in sunny weather lying flat out on the lawn.
