Covid 19 Update

We are currently delivering educational and therapeutic sessions for children with SEND who have an EHCP in line with Government guidelines.

Government guidelines as at 14th January 2021

“To ensure that children and young people receive the support they need, we will not be issuing further notices to modify this duty unless the evidence changes. It is vital that all children with SEND attend their education setting so that they can receive high quality teaching and specialist professional care. All therapies and support that would normally be in place for children with EHC plans should now be back in place, and our focus is on supporting local authorities, health commissioning bodies and education settings to restore full provision for all children and young people with EHC plans”.

Hack Back CIC is an award winning social enterprise. We use an innovative approach to achieve lasting change. Our partnership work means that we can make a bigger impact and help more people to achieve.

We work closely with The Together Trust, Inscape House School and Kedleston Group, HIgh Peak School which are specialist schools for children with autism, ADHD and other conditions.

We are also proud to work with Royden Park Project a learning disability project based on the Wirral.

We have worked with our partners Cheshire Falconry for over 15 years. It is an amazing place and means that the young people we work with can train in falconry and complete a qualification.

Thanks to the  wonderful support of Rotary Clubs throughout the North West we have been able to deliver projects for children and older people which been great fun and have resulted in significant improvements in the mental health, and well-being of hundreds of people.

Adoption at Hack Back

Cheshire Falconry has kindly given the responsibility of managing their adoption scheme to Hack Back CIC.

By adopting one of the birds (or Koko the Newfoundland) at Cheshire Falconry and Hack Back CIC you are helping to fund the work of Hack Back CIC in delivering animal assisted interventions for children, young people and adults with a wide range of conditions including autism, anxiety, depression, PTSD, ADHD, cancer, learning disability and dementia.

Within Cheshire Falconry’s wonderful collection of owls, falcons, hawks and eagles, and Hack Back’s team of therapy owls and dog you are sure to find the perfect animal to sponsor.
